COVID VIDEO PORTRAITS (2020-2021)

Conceived during the covid pandemic, made in isolation, this project reimagines environmental portraiture for the digital age. I photographed people via video chat, using my camera to document their on-screen presence. Each portrait captures the subtle tension between physical absence and emotional proximity, translating the ephemeral nature of online connection into a lasting visual record. The screen was the stage, and table top environment was the venue.
